2. Editorial Discretion & Ranking

  1. Editorial Control
    We reserve the right to edit, remove, or refuse any listing, description, logo, or other content at our sole discretion.
  2. Ranking Criteria
    Our tool rankings or placements are determined by our internal criteria, which may include user feedback, editorial judgment, or commercial considerations. We do not guarantee any particular ranking or visibility to non-paying businesses.
  3. Paid Listings
    We may offer paid listing options or sponsorship packages to businesses. Sponsored or paid listings may appear in a different position or be labeled as “Sponsored,” “Featured,” or similar. Purchasing a premium listing does not guarantee a certain volume of traffic, conversions, or leads.
  4. No Obligation to Update
    We are not obligated to continuously update or monitor every listing; however, we aim to review and revise content periodically to maintain relevance.

3. Nominative Fair Use & Intellectual Property

  1. Trademarks & Logos
    • Third-party trademarks and logos displayed on compareautomation.com are the property of their respective owners.
    • Our use of third-party marks or logos is for identification purposes only and does not imply any endorsement or affiliation unless expressly stated.
  2. Copyrighted Material
    • If you believe any content (text, images, etc.) on compareautomation.com infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at compareautomation@gmail.com with a detailed notice.
    • We will review and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable intellectual property laws.

5. Removal & Update Requests

    • Provide sufficient detail so we can locate and review the content in question.
  2. Review Period
    • We aim to review removal or update requests within 10–15 business days.
    • We do not guarantee immediate action and reserve the right to maintain content if we determine the request is unfounded or if we have a legitimate interest in retaining the information.
  3. Business Opt-Out
    • If a business does not wish to be listed, it may formally opt out using the procedure above.
    • Upon confirmation, we will remove or modify the listing unless we have a lawful basis or legitimate interest in maintaining it (e.g., factual references, historical information).

6. Paid Listings & Commercial Terms

  1. Payment & Fees
    • Businesses may choose to pay for premium listings, sponsored placements, or featured spots.
    • All fees will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
  2. Refund Policy
    • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all payments are final and non-refundable once the listing or sponsorship has gone live on the Site.
  3. No Guaranteed Results
    • Purchasing a premium or sponsored listing does not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to higher ranking, traffic, or conversions.

7. Limitation of Liability

  1. No Warranties
    compareautomation.com and the Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  2. No Liability for Indirect Damages
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages—including loss of revenue or data—arising out of or related to your use of the Site.
  3. Cap on Damages
    If we are found liable for any claim, our total liability shall not exceed the total fees (if any) paid by you for the Services in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
